Crazy Day

You still have time to submit questions for Blackfive. Please e-mail your questions by midnight central time today. His interview is scheduled to appear here Friday.

I am now opening up questions for Josh. Please e-mail your questions by midnight central time Thursday. Hopefully you'll see his interview on Monday.

As for new posts today, I plan to have them up but it'll be later than normal...probably early afternoon unless bad things happen.

You can exchange recipes in the comments. Thanksgiving is right around the corner!

Get a loaf of King's Hawaiian Bread (usually in the deli section of stores).
Open the bag and take it out. Tear out the middle so you have a bread bowl,
and then tear up the remaining bread into bite-sized pieces.

In another bowl, cream together:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
2 large packages cream cheese
Use a wooden or metal spoon, because you'll snap off a plastic spatula.

Add:
1 can water chestnuts (chopped finely or to taste). These are
for texture purposes and can be left out.
1 package frozen chopped spinach (thawed, drained, uncooked)

Once that is well mixed, begin to add garlic powder (not salt!). Add
some more. Now add a bit more. Mix well and add some more. At a certain
point the flavour will jump out at you. Add just a dash more, then mix
well. Pour the mixture into the bread bowl and chill.

This is always one of the first things to disappear at a party. Print up
copies of the recipe, too. My mom adds the chopped green stems from those
scallion onion things, but I think it makes it too hot.

Option: Leave out the garlic powder, spinach and water chestnuts and
instead add pineapple chunks.

Don't tell anyone, Pete, but you're my favorite.

Popups? There are popups?

Sorry, I've been using Mozilla so long I've kind of forgotten they exist!
