Mmm...Volleyball...
A friend was talking about playing sand volleyball and inspired me to, of course, watch Top Gun. (Hey, it's a rainy day.)
I still think Rick Rossovich is the best-looking guy in that movie. He was Iceman's partner.
Of course, even Goose looked good in the volleyball scene.

Several months ago I went to a local bar to catch a band I enjoy. I went with a buddy of mine who was at the time unattached. Before the band started, a cute chick with several of her friends wound up beside us at the bar and I challenged my buddy to talk to her. And they did for what seemed like an hour or more. Anyway, at some point, I did occasion to talk to her and since my doofy buddy hadn't even got her name, I did get that, but I've since forgotten. Anyway, she told me I looked like Val Kilmer (that and Kiefer Sutherland I get that a lot) and then proceeded to tell me that she had sex with Rick Rossovich. I was like Rick who? She explained - Iceman's partner - and I was like OK... Then I thought - why would some chick, you just met, tell you that she had sex with a near-movie star? Is that some sort of weird pickup line? Do other guys get excited to think, Hey, I'm gonna nail this chick that [fill-in-the-blank] nailed? Euuuhhhh!!!
Believe it or not, part of the pilot training selection process is a volleyball match. And afterwards, we all go shower togeth... wait...
