Pranks and Such

Earlier today one of the guys at work lowered my chair, so when I sat down the seat wasn't where it normally is located. He does this to everyone. Hilarity ensues.

I went into his office at lunch and switched the "t" and "r" keys on his keyboard as well as the keyboard of his officemate.

They're trying to get me to call tech support now.

(Feel free to put your own prank suggestions in the comments...I have a feeling I'll be needing more.)

This one is simple, but very fun. If someone has a phone where there is an actual receiver that must be picked up..tape down the little clicky thing (please don't ask me the technical name for that). The phone rings..they answer..it keeps ringing.

Here's another..take the little ball out of the inside of their computer mouse, then put the cover back on. Even more fun.

Tape their desk drawers shut someplace where they can't see the tape. Watch them as they try to pull the drawer open. : )

If he ever leaves his computer signed on and un attended go into his desktop settings and make EVERYTHING black :)

Do a search around the 'Net, see if you can find the Blue screen of Death
screen saver. Upload it, set the wait time to 1 minute.

I would find it amusing, if I had a cow-orker who went around lowering chairs, to sit down without looking, in such a manner as to wind up falling on the floor, mess up my back, and sue, sue sue.

One of my favorites and it always works. You'll need a couple of minutes at the victim's workstation.

Close all windows so you just see the desktop and lauch bar at the bottom. Hit the "Print Screen" key, open MS Paint, and paste the screenshot. Save it as a .bmp file somewhere you can find it.

Next, right-click on the desktop and choose "Properties." On the background tag, browse to the .bmp file you saved and set it as the desktop background. Click OK.

Now right-click the desktop again. Make sure "Active Desktop" is enabled by making sure "Active Desktop > Show Web Content" is checked. Right-click desktop again and un-check "Active Desktop > Show Desktop Icons"

Voila. Unclickable desktop icons. you can take it a step further and hide the launch bar as well. It will drive your victim crazy. Gets 'em every time.
