Jen at Work

The continuing adventures of Jen and her Co-Worker...

CW: It's raining!

JL: (actually has a window while CW does not) Umm, yes, it is.

CW: (5 minutes later) The sun's out!

JL: Umm, yes, it is.

CW: Does it sound like it's raining again? It must be really pouring!

JL: No, I think that's the air handler.

CW: The sun's out!

JL: Yep.

CW: I bet there's a rainbow!

JL: I think it's too early in the afternoon for rainbows.

CW: Do you think there's a rainbow?

JL: Umm, no. I think the sun has to be at a certain angle to the Earth.

CW: I'm gonna go see if there's a rainbow!

JL: Okay.

CW: I hope there's a rainbow! They're so pretty.

JL: Okay.

CW: I looked and I don't see any rainbows.

JL: Maybe next time.

I cam the conclusion when thinking about a CW in my life that there are people who reach a level of stupidity that they can't even conceive of the concept of intelligence in others.

I have customers at the bank who live at the local... "institute for the mentally challenged"... who engage me in very similar conversations.
