And here I thought I was the only freak of nature with that issue. Pool drains freak me out! I would rather swim in an above ground pool with no drain!! I also have issues swimming in lakes, ponds, rivers, etc. If I can't see the bottom or what is below me I am not comfortable!

I just keep remembering how some drowning victims are never found..........oh and the Friday the 13th where Jason pops up out of the water doesn't help!

Basement stairs without the back part. They were a cause of major childhood trauma. Even today I have to control myself to walk up these things at a normal pace and I feel something under the stairs reaching for my ankles.

Lovely Wife has the water thing. She will not go into water where she can't see the bottom.

I must be a real freak, I have the water (not seeing the bottom, hey I grew up with jaws) and the no back of stairs thing. I keep thinking I'm going to fall threw.

I also have a worm thing, ewe they are just so gross. I'm freaked out just talking about them. In elementary school I was found during a rainstorm on my way to school screaming like a wild thing because there were so many worms on the sidewalk I couldn't walk. It got to the point where I had to be driven to/from school if it was raining.

Sometimes I'm worried that someone is going to leave a plate of mayonnaise sitting in my car in the summer heat and then I'm going to get in and spill it on the carpet or something.

I cant believe that other people are freaked out by pool drains like me! Until I found this I thought I was some kind of freak...I hate any water where you cant see the bottom and cant go anywhere near a pool on my own...
