It's 8:00 and I've already been at work for an hour and twenty minutes, which means I got up at an ungodly hour this morning.
I woke up at 4:30 and went to the bathroom, but I realized it wasn't my bladder that woke me up. It was my knee. My muddy adventure the other day did more damage than I thought.
If it doesn't hurry up and heal, my long weekend camping will be a bit on the uncomfortable side. Bleh.
Plus I have softball-sized bruises on both my legs. That should be very attractive when I'm hitting on Navy guys on the 4th.
(/bitching)
Posted by Jennifer at June 29, 2004 08:00 AMIce first 24-48 hours of injury, heat after that. (20 minutes at a time)
Elevation of injured leg, less pressure on it the better.
Use of ibuprofen the best, reduces swelling. Tylenol type for pain.
Should be good as new for the weekend.

uh... bruises turn pretty rainbow colors :-)
Nevermind. Heal soon.

Oh, and you're probably overstressing about it if you think a couple of bruises will slow down the Navy guys. A full body cast is but a minor challenge to those guys.
I won't be in Iowa.
