That or I just do well on standardized tests.
One question buggered me...and I'm annoyed they didn't tell you the correct answers when you were done. The question is in the extended.
Of course, what little faith I have in IQ tests was destroyed when Bill scored 149.
Maybe I'll have to take the one he did...just for comparison's sake:
Hmm. He's still smarter than I am. This is obviously all bunk. Or he just used the "example" score they use, which is 149. Coincidence?
Two cars are sitting in the same spot on a straight highway, facing opposite directions. They both drive 6 miles, take a left turn, and drive 8 more miles. How far apart are the cars?
I thought it was 28, but that wasn't an option. I wasn't in the mood for complex math, so I didn't work out the equation for how apart they were "as the crow flies"...besides, do I even remember the formula for a right triangle?! Stupid Pythagoras. The answer was 20, wasn't it?
