Craft Time

Now that I have a working digital camera, I can post proof of my various domestic endeavors.

A few weeks ago I went to a craft fair with my mom and sister. Mom collects teddy bears and spotted a wreath with a bear. I talked her out of forking over $25 for it, and made one myself for a Christmas gift:

It's a wooden wreath that you can find at WalMart or Michael's (who has them on sale right now), with ribbon wrapped around it. Then I added a ready-made floral bough before attaching the bear. Simple enough. I fashioned a hanging loop out of the wire I used to attach the bear and bough, and voila!

Now don't any of you ruin the surprise, okay?

It is lovely!!! I like the colors you chose. It gives off a very warm and countryish feeling.
