This, That, and a Guy Named Pat

First of all, a hearty thank you to those who visit my Google Ads advertisers. I know it's lame to have ads on a small site like mine, but I really can use every dollar I can get right now.

Now, for those who give a rip, I have bought all the books for 2 of my classes. I bought a couple books for another class, and have the remaining books for that class listed on my Wish List in case any of you want to help subsidize my education. (When I have the funds available, I'll buy them myself, of course.) That leaves 3 classes...and I don't know which books they've ordered yet. Stupid procrastinating profs. (One of whom I had a class with in 1994. I hope his lecture skills have improved since then.)

By the way, B.A. in History. Possible B.A. in Anthropology as well...I'll decide that in December. It won't take any longer to complete, so it depends how interesting I find it. And how well I do. Mostly that part.

A very belated congrats to Jay and Deb on their bun in the oven. Unfortunately, I'm too stupid to figure out how to get their blog to work on my feedreader, so I get behind. Plus I'm elderly, so I forget to blog about stuff for a week or two. Anyway, congrats to them. I enjoy the daily Sadie pics, and look forward to twice as much baby cuteness.

Someone else I know through blogging is expecting, but I would never presume to make announcements for other people. ;-)

Toodles.

Aw, thank you!

I have a suspicion that feeds on our site are somehow unavailable, even though they're supposed to be working, and I have no idea how to change that. When I am at other blogs, Firefox has an icon in the lower right for adding a live bookmark of the page's feed. It doesn't when I am on ours. Doh.
