Um, no... it was phrased very conventionally for a historical fact.

By the way, I assume you mean "American-sponsored team". Greg LeMond was the first American to win in 1986, and won 2 more times after that.

Lance Armstrong is nuts. That guy used to ride a lot up in the mountains where I went to college, back when everyone made fun of road bikers for looking like little girls. Now, he's like the man (deservedly). It's just funny how that works I guess.
