Ad Nauseam

So, like, teachers/professors are always warning people not to lengthen their papers artificially with silliness like widening the margins or choosing large fonts.

Do you think they check to see if people shorten their papers by shrinking the margins?

Not that I'd do that, mind you. That would be the height of nerdiness.

Just, umm, wondering.

If you only do it by a 1/10th or 2, you'll be fine. Who doesn't do that?

I mean, Let's run her out of town on a rail!!!!

"Widening the margins and choosing large fonts"? Yeesh, when I was in college our papers were hand-written or, if you had the dough, type-written. Choosing fonts...

hmm. i was always a big nerd, but never ever had to shrink a margin. i usually scraped and scraped for big words so i could get to the required length.

i don't have so much trouble with length anymore.
