Posted by: Pete at July 11, 2008 05:06 AMI'm impressed--he even got all the dots in right places.
Posted by: Victor at July 11, 2008 06:23 AMI'm impressed too. At his ability to withstand what must be an undying urge to dot the 'i' in his name with a cute little heart.
Posted by: shank at July 11, 2008 10:35 AMThe jealousy on display here is sad, really. I mean, the whole point of Lyrical Pursuit is to know as many artists and songs as possible...and thus far, Daniel is the only one who consistently knows any songs produced after 1975.
L.O.V.E. is on my iPod. So if you're going to attack anyone, let it be me. I paid 99˘ for it! Thus encouraging Joe Simpson to keep pimping out his daughter and her boobies and her relationship.
Posted by: Jennifer at July 11, 2008 11:07 AMNot quite 1975. However we are seeing an interesting male/female dynamic here. I would venture a guess that if you picked songs that are not regularly featured on most “lite rock” stations the rest of us might have a shot at knowing the lyrics.
Posted by: Pete at July 11, 2008 12:27 PM...said last month's winner.
Posted by: Jennifer at July 11, 2008 01:14 PMLet's see, the ones I got were - Kim Carnes - Big MTV hit of the 80s
Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited - 1982 plus a few movie sound tracks and commercials since then
AC/DC - If I ever miss one of these please shoot me
So there, Ms 1975 :P
I don't know if I would've paid 99 cents for it, but it isn't absolutely terrible...
And who says I don't dot my i's with hearts?
It's in my top 25.
On a semi-related note, it's Drunk Korean Karaoke Night next door. We're going on 4 hours. It's deteriorated to the point where the only decipherable word seems to be "baby".
