It's like Egypt before the Exodus around here, with all the frogs underfoot.

I mentioned an amphibian encounter earlier in the week. Well, there are now probably hundreds of little frogs hopping about the courtyard. I can't walk to my car without nearly stepping on a dozen. If I wasn't still gimpy, I probably would be accidentally trodding upon their spotted green backs.

The flooding seems to have changed their territory a bit...I never saw a single frog this time last year.

Good thing I don't have a froggy phobia. If these were giant spiders scurrying about, I'd have set fire to the place by now.
