Not Feeling It

It's cold. It's snowy. I don't feel like doing much beyond huddling under some blankets. Or stewing in a hottub. (Does anyone else always hear Eddie Murphy as James Brown singing "Hottub!" in their head whenever they think the word "hottub" to themselves? Anyone? No? Just me? Okay then.)

So what I'm saying is, entertain yourselves. I'll give you a topic.

Doughnuts. Filled? Glazed? Frosted? Powdered? Name your poison. I like the chocolate-frosted cream-filled kind. I also like the Krispy Kreme blueberry thingies.

Fractured Prune, honey glazed with cinnamon and sugar.
I like Timbits because we don't have Tim Horton's here, which makes Timbits exotic and appealing.

Too hot in the hot tub. Goin burn myself. Owwww!

Good times. Good times...

Glazed chocolate cake with strong coffee. A good bavarian creme (NOT that nasty white sugar creme!!) with chocolate frosting can be mighty nice too.

Or a peanut donut. Mmmmm...

I've come over all hungry like.

Hottub! Owww!

I love Bavarians, specifically the ones filled with that lovely vanilla pudding stuff. I'm not as fond of the ones with the fluffy white creme.

Also, there's something to be said for a simple glazed donut. Pure and pleasing.

And a nice cinnamon twist. Those are nice too.

Bavarian with the custard filling and chocolate on top. Then my other favorite is just plain cake with chocolate on top. Simple yet delightful. I concur with the hottub statement.
