Tourism--Biltmore
Has anyone been to Biltmore House in Asheville, NC? Is it worth the price of admission?
UPDATE for the benefit of anyone getting here through a search engine...yes, it is totally worth the price of admission. Better to go when the flowers are in bloom and such, but a very nice way to spend the day, according to my parents. Good tour, good shopping, etc.

Posted by: shank at February 5, 2009 01:20 PMI've been twice. It's well worth the price. You might consider going when it's warm outside so that the gardens will be in full bloom. Also, stop by the Biltmore winery, if you happen to like that sort of thing.
Oh, and there are great places to eat/drink in Asheville. You should check out Barleys (or something like that). They have Sicilian style pizza made by NY refugees and about 30-40 beers or so on tap from all over.
