Iowa Caucus and Stuff

Well, I've gotten more than a couple e-mails asking my thoughts on the Iowa Caucus, so I'll break with tradition and actually get political for a moment.

I don't think it is a huge surprise that Howard Dean didn't do well here. His ads focused on his stance in the war, and a lot of moderate Democrats (myself included) can not support a candidate whose main message comes off as a call to Isolationism. Whether or not that is an accurate description of his stance on foreign policy is irrelevant--perception is reality.

Besides, the man is a complete jackass. His speech last night will probably not impress any voter who was on the fence.

There you have it: my brief thoughts on matters political.
