WindRider is worked up about hims and hers and who is which.
Like Keith in the comments, I'm not sure why he has such a problem with it.
I prefer to be called Ms. Larson and do not answer to Mrs. Larson. I will allow Miss Larson, but never Mr. Larson. For cute little nieces and nephews I will even answer to "mama" but correct them. I do not answer to Jenny, but you may call me Jen if Jennifer is too long for you. There's one guy who calls me "mommy" but he's really hot and gets a pass. My dad calls me "kid" and that's okay because I am his. Most of you can just stick to Jennifer or Jen to be safe. Ms. Larson if you're nasty because I couldn't resist.
Posted by Jennifer at May 28, 2004 08:58 AMI'm assuming "toots" would be frowned upon?
Posted by: Paul at May 28, 2004 09:14 AMThere is one guy who uses that...but he's in Israel and therefore a little hard to smack.
Posted by: Jennifer at May 28, 2004 09:15 AMSo I'm assuming Cuntface is out of the question.
Kidding. I kid because I love!
Posted by: Bill at May 28, 2004 09:20 AMWhat about J-Dawg?
Posted by: Daniel at May 28, 2004 10:08 AMWhat's the difference between Ms. and Miss anyway? I mean, if we're talking and I say "Care for another funnel of Meister Brau Miss Larson?" you don't really know if I used "Ms." or "Miss", right? And really, would I have to ask that question in the first place? It's just 'understood' to be a yes, isn't it?
For future reference that could be important.
Posted by: Jim at May 28, 2004 10:36 AMI did say I would allow "Miss", James. And I don't drink beer. If you ask if I'd like another fifth of something, that would be an assumed affirmative.
Posted by: Jennifer at May 28, 2004 10:40 AMI know you're okay with it. I'm wondering what the heck the difference is as some womenfolk aren't as accepting as you are.
Regarding the fifths - I don't recommend doing them in a funnel. Especially with Harvey around.
Posted by: Jim at May 28, 2004 10:48 AMIs the very old school Miss Jennifer alright?
Posted by: Guinness at May 28, 2004 11:11 AMI'm guessing we won't be hearing about Dominatrix Jennifer's Dungeon of Submission, Pain, and Delight any time soon.
Much to Bill's disappointment, no doubt.
Back to the original topic - guess it's a peeve because the first place I ver noticed it was on Springer a few years back - now it's mainstream. Springerization of the nation.
