Snickers and other fun-sized bars. Candy corn and their ilk are vile to the highest of vilestivity!

You are so wrong. Pumpkins rock.

I liked the apples the hippies down the street used to pass out. They made everything so...colorful...after you ate them!

Snickers. It's all about the Snickers. Period.

Heya Pun'kin. It's A. Everything else is sheer blasphemy.

Though Reese's minatures are always welcome in my house.

Anything that makes your puke glow-in-the-dark is vile. Candy corn and their ilk fall into that category (as do Cheetos); therefore, they are vile. QED.

Hey, wouldn't being a heathen anything be desired on Halloween? Even a "heathen candy corn?" I mean, isn't Halloween all about heathenism?

Posted by: Daniel at October 11, 2004 04:58 PM

Daniel, I'm not talking to you until you return my e-mail.

Victor, you're not supposed to eat so much that you puke.

I like the heathen candy corn; but only as a change of paces fromt he normal kind. And pumpkins are always welcomed.
But, I gotta say, I always reach for the smarties first!

What if an object's very existence makes you heave, Jen? There are many objects that make a lot of people hurl:
* Liver
* Calve's brains
* Brussel's sprouts
* Peeps
* Candy corn
* Coors

I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

I'm with T.S.--I always steal the smarties out of my nieces' and nephews' candy because they misgudedly think that snickers and such are the "good stuff"! Silly children! Oh, and I buy my own candy pumpkins, and hoard them!

The proper thing to do with Snickers is to buy the bite size ones, unwrap them, and set them out in little gold foil cups at the wedding reception.

I, too, favor Smarties (the U.S. ones, not 2nd-rate M&Ms) over all other Halloween candies.
