The Plan

Somehow I thought the worst was over. I was wrong. Today can't end quickly enough, regardless of the outcome.

Tonight there will be no repeat of 2000 for me. I won't stay at home and watch network news (who got it wrong last time anyway), anxiously awaiting the outcome.

Tonight Jen and companion are going to the movies. It should be a good night for it.

I too will not be watching the network news. Nor will I be following the results on the Internets. I wish I could join you ... however, I will most likely be listening to some lovely music on my CD player, or maybe watching my favorite cooking show Emeril Live. And I will sleep well, and wake up refreshed tomorrow and only then find out the (non-)results.

I'll be asleep. I'm 5 hours ahead of Eastern Time, and I have a presentation to give at work tomorrow.
