Posted by: Monjo at January 7, 2005 05:37 AMThere was a case reported in Chicago some time back in which the woman described having been raped while standing, forced against a loading dock wall. One member of the jury refused to convict, as she did not believe it was possible. After considerable time without a decision, a man and woman on the jury, with no particular feelings for each other, decided to demonstrate in order to close the case. The report is that they were nowhere close to consummation when the holdout decided to accept the jury consensus.
