I'll Give You a Topic...

You're at a dinner party hosted by the CEO of your company, and you see a nasty bug in your food. What do you do?

Oh..."nasty". First time I read that I saw "tasty". That's a whole different ball of wax there, let me tell you.

I guess it depends on where I'm sitting. If possible I'd flick it into the CEO's salad. Seeing as I'm (currently) a peon I doubt I'd be at the head table so I'd use it for comedic effect to entertain my lowbrow peers.

It's not a banquet. It's a dinner party. Assume you're at the same table.

Dinner party at a CEOs means there is wait staff. I would quietly pull the wait staff over and tell them. They would take care of it immediately. I would not draw attention to it to the CEO, he would be embarrassed. If he noticed, I would tell him there was a slight problem with my food, but it was taken care of and for him not to give it a second thought.

Ack. Or HER. The CEO could be a HER.

Wow, Bou. That was so genteel. I'm almost embarrassed for my flippant and humo-centric answer.

Then again my answer wasn't ragingly sexist. Hah!

True Story;

I was once sitting accross the table from the CEO of my company at some sort of shin dig. Being the youngest and newest employee at the table for this large corporation, I did not know who he was.

The Waiter delivered our Cesear Salads. The fancy ones with the anchovie on top. I looked down and immediatly exclaimed "What is this? Bait?"

Trust me Jim, I would rather be flippant and humor-centric than ragingly sexist! My Mom would be so disappointed...

That's okay, Bou. We won't tell Mom.

Pick it up on my fork with a bite of food and start to speak, wave it around like I did't see it. and continue to speak and gesture with my fork till it fell on the table or the CEO saw it.
