If God appeared before you, would you believe? Or would you check yourself into the nearest mental health/detox facility as soon as He left?
Posted by Jennifer at January 24, 2005 09:00 AMI think I'd need more than just an appearance in order to have any change of my beliefs or doubt of my own sanity. I think I'm more ready to believe in alien mind control.
Posted by: Jim at January 24, 2005 09:23 AMThere's been a lack of smiting since the old testament. Where's the smiting?
Posted by: Paul at January 24, 2005 10:30 AMI work in NYC, I see people proclaiming to be God every day. He would have to be REALLY convincing to even get a second look.
Posted by: Pete at January 24, 2005 11:35 AMHaving seen "Oh God!" and not wanting to lose my job as produce manager, I would keep my mouth shut.
Posted by: Harvey at January 24, 2005 11:53 AMI think I would believe, but he would have to pass a written exam first.
Posted by: shank at January 24, 2005 12:18 PMEvidence of God exists-I have seen her.
Posted by: jrd at January 24, 2005 12:39 PMI'd have to ask her how she felt about women getting implants.
Posted by: prairie biker at January 24, 2005 03:02 PMUm, I think you die instantly, or something. Then you have to see Him again, I guess.
Posted by: Hammertime at January 24, 2005 07:48 PMUmmm ... would it be bad form for me to say I already believe? Or would it be something of a relief (or is it a surprise) to know that the Presbyterian Church still thinks it's an important requirement, at least in most parts of the country? ;)
