3/27 Lyrical Pursuit Lyric

Friday is once again upon us and that means it is time for the back of the box edition of Lyrical Pursuit. I dug deep in to the box for this one.

(See rules/intro here.)

All I saw were three doors

And the top of her bikini

I made it through the first door

You really don't want to cheat to win a back of the box lyrical pursuit

we have the song, now for the artist
Clue #1: They were an American novelty song studio group, whose lead singer was Richard Monda
Clue #2: "Whos your ____"

Winner !! Nic knows her bad 70s music. It is Chick-a-Boom (Don't Ya Jes' Love It) by Daddy Dewdrop

March totals: Nic 18, Stephen 15, Keith 10, Victor 10

For some reason these lines make me think of "Chick-a-Boom" ("...don't you just love it?") and I have no idea who recorded that song.

Chick-a-Boom (Don't Ya Jes' Love It) by Daddy Dewdrop
Very first cut on Volume 5 of "Super Hits of the '70's", right before "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo."
